My Server Intellect Review
I tried many web hosting services before and in most of them I quit after some period. Although every web hosting looks great when you look at list of features on their web site, I experienced that in real life many of the features works so bad that you can't use it. For example, many web hosting companies offers PHP on Windows server. Because of some reason, many open source PHP web applications run too slow to be used (the same applications on Linux hosting work fast). So, some web hosting company promised me I can run PHP application on Windows shared hosting, but in reality it would not run, in the best case it will walk or crawl :).
This site is hosted at Server Intellect because Server Intellect hosting provides what they said. Their service is not overselled. I didn't calculate what is exact up time, is it 99,99% or 99,995%, but I notice that site is always running when I check it. Server Intellect doesn't provide PHP or MySQL database. They provide only ASP.NET and SQL Server but they are great in what they say they do!
The thing I like the most on Server Intellect is their support. For example, I needed some custom settings for my SQL Server database and opened a ticket in online support application. During a next few hours my problem is solved. I understand that there is no service who can read your mind. I also understand that mistakes are possible. Because of that speed of support and answering to my questions is crucial when I decide is some web hosting (or any other kind of service) good or bad.
So, I recommend Server Intellect web hosting to anyone who is serious about his or her site. If just have an initial idea, any cheap web hosting will work well. But, if your web site is important to you, place it on Server Intellect. I hosted this site at their servers before three years and I can't recommend them more.
